How to make a cheap guitar sound expensive?

In this episode, we discuss how to make a cheap guitar sound expensive. The guitar use in this video is Sigma 000ME+, it cost around $300. It can be bought at Davis Guitars.

This guitar has a decent sound unplugged and its value for money. However the plug in tone is not exactly to my liking.

Recently there's alot of hype around this word Impulse Response (IR). It's supposedly able to help replicate certain tones of amps and guitars by capturing the frequencies response. Certain big companies like Ownhammer, 3Sigma Audio, Redwirez all produces excellent IRs. After reading up quite a bit, I went ahead to purchase the 3Sigma Acoustic IR MART D45. There are many IR files inside the purchased pack, but in this video, I will only be using one of the IRs. IRs are loaded into the Line6 Helix board and its running straight into my audio interface. Check it out and let me know what you think!
