Guitar Emerge - Beginner Guitar Soloing Ideas (Octaves)

Hi friends, continuing on our Beginner Soloing Ideas, in this lesson we share this idea called Octaves. Octaves are generally 2 same notes but 8 notes apart. For example, if you play a C major scale, the starting low C note and the ending high C note are considered 1 octave apart.

In this video we introduce a simple Octave shape to remember. This Octave shape is movable across the fretboard and it makes identifying your octaves fast. We have also included 3 simple octave ideas for you to learn. Have fun!

We hope this video does bless you in one way or another! Do drop us your feedback and comments and encourage us if you find this useful! Cheers and God Bless!
